Highlights of the Education Leadership Talk

In December 2023, Deans and faculty members from the top-ranked Michigan Marsal School of Education connected with education leaders in India, providing invaluable insights into leadership strategies and the transformative power of Instructional Rounds (IR). This session focused on the potential of IR to significantly improve teaching outcomes through structured observations and collaborative discussions.

The event was a landmark moment for school leaders, offering an exchange of ideas that seamlessly blended international pedagogical approaches with local contexts. By introducing concepts such as contextual and place-based learning, the talk emphasized the importance of understanding the educational environment and leveraging it to enhance student engagement and learning experiences.

“It’s been a four-month journey, starting with a conversation with Dean Elizabeth Moje at the Michigan Marsal School of Education. From our initial meeting at the Pan Asia Conference in May, it took countless discussions and planning until September, when we finally got the green light to move forward with a professional development workshop for school leaders. The vision for this summit is simple yet powerful: helping school leaders succeed in their mission.”

A Case Study in Contextual Learning

One of the most enlightening segments of the session was a case study detailing how contextual learning workshops can benefit schools. By drawing on international curricular models and cutting-edge teaching practices, these workshops demonstrated how schools could achieve better learning outcomes. Participating leaders witnessed firsthand how adaptive and innovative teaching methods could address challenges specific to their institutions.

The Education Leadership Talk set the stage for our upcoming 3-Day Education Leaders Summit 2024, which will be held in Mumbai and Delhi NCR. This summit will bring together school leaders, including school owners, heads of schools, directors, principals, and coordinators aspiring to advance their leadership roles. The summit will feature:

Certified Workshops on educational leadership, place-based and socio-emotional learning.
Instructional Rounds (IR) at schools in each city, allowing participants to observe and discuss effective teaching practices and the integration of technology.
A Panel Discussion led by the influential Anil Srinivasan, covering pressing topics in education.
A Graduation Ceremony celebrating the accomplishments of 65 school leaders.
Education Distinction Awards (EDA) to honor exemplary contributions in education.
Exclusive Networking Opportunities with top leaders from the education and corporate worlds.

Introducing the Education Leaders Summit 2024

We have limited seats—65 per city—and encourage early registration to take advantage of the Early Bird Fee available until December 10th, 2023. Additionally, we are offering scholarships to make this summit accessible to more school leaders:

10 scholarships per city covering up to 20% of the fee for private and public school leaders.
Up to 50% fee coverage for NGO school leaders (conditions apply).
